Nobody likes wasting time in a waiting room. Sometimes it’s unavoidable—your doctor is sick, there was an emergency, or the patient before you had their appointment run over. Those are all situations that can happen, and it’s understandable that in a situation like that you may have to spend some time in the waiting room before you go back for your procedure.

There’s a lot of time that gets spent in waiting rooms that is completely avoidable, though, and that’s what we’re referring to. The average patient spends about 20 minutes filling out forms after they arrive for a procedure. 20 minutes might not sound like a lot of time to you, but that’s 20 minutes that you could be spending doing literally anything else.

Like watch an episode of The Office.

Or do a little holiday shopping.

Or (just barely) successfully make it through the Starbuck’s drive through line.

Or get in a short but satisfying workout

Or take a little power nap.

See what we mean? Those 20 minutes you’ll spend filling out forms in the waiting room might not seem like a ton of time, but when you think about all of the other things you could be using those 20 minutes to do, you start to feel a little upset.

As much as we love our waiting room, we understand that you’d much rather catch an episode of The Office or spend your valuable time snagging a last-minute frappaccino at Starbuck’s. And we’re ok with that! In fact, we want to make sure that you’re actually able to do just that! That’s why we’ve put all of our patient forms online.

You can download each form, print it out, and complete them ahead of time. We’ve even made it so that you can fill out our longest form (the Patient Information Form) online, speeding up the process even more! That way you can show up for your procedure and not worry about wasting time in the waiting room. Take those 20 minutes and do something fun with them! You’ll thank yourself later.
